End-of-Life Care Insights

End-of-Life Care Insights

Do You Work Alongside Hospice Care?

Yes. Our caregivers complement the hospice team by providing non-medical support, companionship and help with daily needs while keeping the family informed.

Can Care Be Scheduled Flexibly as Needs Change?

Yes. Care schedules can be increased or adjusted as your loved one’s condition and the family’s needs change.

What Kind of Support Do Caregivers Provide?

Caregivers assist with personal care, meals, mobility, repositioning, light housekeeping, companionship and family respite. They do not replace hospice nurses or provide medical treatment.

Is End-of-Life Care Covered by Insurance?

Medicare may cover eligible hospice medical services, but it generally does not cover ongoing non-medical personal care or around-the-clock help at home. Long-term care insurance may cover some services depending on the policy.
